Vocal Dynamics Coach is a dynamics trainer for singers, actors, speakers and wind players. It shows how loud you are in real time on your own personal scale, guides you through crescendo, diminuendo and messa di voce exercises, and gently reminds teachers and speakers when they talk too loud.
Your personal scale
A phone microphone is not a calibrated sound level meter, so raw decibels mean little. Two short takes — your softest sustained sound and your loudest comfortable one — set a personal scale from 0 to 100 with the markings pp, p, mp, mf, f and ff. From then on, mf really means your mezzo forte.

Your score is the average distance from the target curve, with voice coverage and an optional pitch-steadiness reading for sustained notes.
Talk mode: speak without shouting
For teachers, coaches and speakers: set your limit, leave the phone on the desk, and it vibrates or flashes discreetly when you stay above it for more than 2 seconds. At the end you see the lesson time, speaking time and time above the limit.
Sessions
Your exercises, practice and lessons are saved as numbers only — never audio — so you can see your progress.
Honest measurements
The app turns off automatic gain control where the phone allows it and checks what the system really does. If your phone may still adjust the volume by itself, it tells you that results are approximate. An optional offset lets you read approximate dB SPL against an external sound level meter.
Free, offline and private
No ads, no in-app purchases, no account, no internet connection. The microphone is analysed on your device in real time and never recorded or sent.
